(01) Our approach
A flawless finish is mostly preparation. We sand, fill and prime as carefully as we paint — because the surface beneath is what makes the colour above sing.

Hand-finished joinery
Doors, panelling and cabinetry brushed by hand — never sprayed unless it should be.
We use traditional cutting-in techniques and water-based eggshells from Mylands, Little Greene and Farrow & Ball — so the grain reads, the brush marks lay down softly, and the finish wears beautifully for years.

Calm sites, clear timings, no surprises.
Visit & listen
We come to the property, look at the light, the surfaces, the use of each room — and ask the questions a quote alone can't.
Detailed quote
A clear written proposal: paints, finishes, prep work, timings and a fixed price. No vague line items.
Prep, properly
Sheets down, surfaces filled, sanded dust-free and primed. Most of the time on site is spent here.
Finish & hand back
Two coats, careful cutting-in, a final walk-through and a clean room — keys back, on the day we said.

Alongside our senior decorators, Bendrick takes on young people pulled away from the streets and from drugs — giving them a real apprenticeship, a paid wage from day one, and a clear path from assistant to senior tradesperson.
